Appreciate the dark shadow?
“Good morning, Raja!” ...I looked up
The sun was smiling!
Cheerfully I responded, “Good morning, Sun!”
“Thanks, but I do not know what that MORNING means...” said the unsmiling sun:
“I am cursed to be, forever, with Just only one!”
I was a bit taken aback, “Having regrets, sad face...you too?
When this whole universe lights up only because of you?”
“For what I am made of”, grudgingly the sun said, “I can only be the constant light.
Never will I know the joy of a Relaxing, Sweet Sleepy, Dark night!...
You human are so lucky, you go to sleep,
dream, even snore!
For me there is just one thing, “forever keep shining” ...Oh, what a bore!
You are a gifted humanity; you have a front and a back You always have a choice... Variety, you don’t lack
Yet, you are a crazy lot...forever searching for just “ONE”! When DUALITY is the essence of living,
THE source of all fun...
High and Low, Come and Go,
Rise and fall...Freeze and flow...
Man and woman, Day and night.
Joy and sorrow; Friendship and fight!”
A large passing cloud came on...silenced the bright sun, Even as I sat thinking about the newly learnt lesson...
From tomorrow, to the sun, when I say “Buddy, Good morning”
I will give a loving hug, and say “yes, I do understand your yearning!”
